  • MESSAGE FOR SERVICE: Sunday, June 25, 2023, is: Build on the Past, Believe in the Future. Scripture: Haggai 1: 7-14.
  • PULPIT FILL: This Sunday, June 25 and Sunday, July 2 we will have Pastor Tom Schmidt and his wife, Denise filling in for Pastor Cyd. Please give them a warm welcome!
  • FORK LIFTERS: Had a small group last Saturday. We decided to go to Gale’s Pond for our outing instead of Bortell’s. A good time was had by all!
  • OFFICE CLOSED: Monday, June 26th the Church Office will be closed.
  • FAITH BY THE LAKE: Workshops are being put on through the Centenary UMC on Pentwater on Saturday, June 24 from 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. For anyone interested, fliers have been placed at the Welcome Center.
  • OCEANA SINGERS: Will be performing Sunday, June 25th at 4:00 P.M. at the Hart United Methodist Church. There will be a free will offering and refreshments will be served after the concert. Please consider joining us to support our talented singers. All are welcome!
  • 72ND ANNUAL ST. JOSEPH AND ST. VINCENT OX ROAST & HOMECOMING: Will be Sunday, July 9th from 11:30 A.M.-3:30 P.M. Dinners are $15.00 each, Children (6-10)-$6.00 and Children (5 & under)-Free. Questions? Please call Karen Alvesteffer at 231-873-5776.
  • FESSENDEN HOUSE: For anyone interested in taking meals to the Fessenden House, the meal hours have changed to breakfast at 8:00 A.M. Lunch is at 12:00 P.M. and dinner is at 5:00 P.M.   
  • COFFEE WITH THE PASTOR: Monday, June 26, coffee with the Pastor will be canceled as the office will be closed. Monday’s from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Pastor Cyd welcomes your phone calls anytime, whether to make an appointment or discuss other business. Contact Pastor Cyd by phone at 231-721-1842 or by her  email (cydinga@gmail.com). 
  • SCRIPTURE READERS: Leave word with Maureen Huizing (873-0418), the Church office (873-3516) or with Pastor Cyd (517) 617-7382 if you would be willing to be our Scripture reader on one of the future Sundays. Denise Schmidt is scheduled for this Sunday, June 25th with Gayle Forner reading on Sunday, July 2nd and David Jensen reading on Sunday, July 9th.
  • CONGREGATIONAL CARE: We need volunteers to help provide food for our Church families in times of need or if you know of anyone who is in need of food. If you can help, please add your name and contact information to the Congregational Care Volunteer list in the McRae Fellowship Hall or leave your name with our Church office (873-3516).   • OFFICE HOURS: The Church office will be opened Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.  Pastor Cyd will be at the Church office on Mondays and Fauna will be at the Church office Tuesday through Friday.
