• MESSAGE FOR SERMON: Sunday, June 18, 2023, is: Are You Coming? Scripture: Matthew 22: 1-14.
• OFFICE CLOSED: Monday, June 18th the Church Office will be closed.
• AD-BOARD MEETING: There will be an Ad-Board Meeting on Monday, June 19th at 6:30 P.M.
• SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS: For grades Second through High-School are available for students that have been attending some of our church events during the last 12 months.  The Lake Michigan Christian Camp is from June 25^th through July 1^st & the Men’s group will fund the entire cost of that camp.  The Men’s group will also fund most of the cost of other Christian Camps such as Grace Adventures if the student prefers to attend a non-Methodist Christian Camp.  If interested, contact the Church office (873-3516) or Pastor Cyd (231-721-1842).
• FAITH BY THE LAKE: Workshops are being put on through the Centenary UMC on Pentwater on Saturday, June 24 from 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. For anyone interested, fliers have been placed at the Welcome Center.
• OCEANA SINGERS: Will be performing Sunday, June 25th at 4:00 P.M. at the Hart United Methodist Church. There will be a free will offering and refreshments will be served after the concert. Please consider joining us to support our talented singers. All are welcome!
• FESSENDEN HOUSE: For anyone interested in taking meals to the Fessenden House, the meal hours have changed to breakfast at 8:00 A.M. Lunch is at 12:00 P.M. and dinner is at 5:00 P.M.   
• TUESDAY’S FRIENDS: Met with a small but fun group. Lots of sharing and we brown bagged it. It was decided that we will meet the second Tuesday of each month for a 5:00 P.M. supper.
• FORK LIFTERS: We will be going to Bortell’s to pick up lunch for our Fork Lifters outing on Saturday, June 17th. Please meet at the Church at 11:00 A.M. If you do not want to order at Bortell’s then please bring a brown bag lunch. We are planning to eat at Summit Park. Bev will be bringing the lemonade. Hoping for a good group! Please call Bev Wood (873-4649) so she knows how many to plan on.
• YOUTH GROUP DONATIONS: Our Youth Group is growing and we are looking for donations. We are looking for kid friendly food that we can prepare simple meals for the Youth Group such as Spaghetti Sauce, Pasta, Garlic Bread, Cans of Chef Boyardee Ravioli, Cans of Spaghetti O’s, or other easy meal ideas. Your donations would be greatly appreciated.
• COFFEE WITH THE PASTOR: Monday, June 19th and Monday, June 26, coffee with the Pastor will be canceled as the office will be closed. Monday’s from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Pastor Cyd welcomes your phone calls anytime, whether to make an appointment or discuss other business. Contact Pastor Cyd by phone at 231-721-1842 or by her email (cydinga@gmail.com). 

• SCRIPTURE READERS: Leave word with Maureen Huizing (873-0418), the Church office (873-3516) or with Pastor Cyd (517) 617-7382 if you would be willing to be our Scripture reader on one of the future Sundays. Penny Brubaker is scheduled for this Sunday, Father’s Day, June 18th with Joe Leonardo reading Sunday, June 25th and Gayle Forner reading on Sunday, July 2nd.
• CONGREGATIONAL CARE: We need volunteers to help provide food for our Church families in times of need or if you know of anyone who is in need of food. If you can help, please add your name and contact information to the Congregational Care Volunteer list in the McRae Fellowship Hall or leave your name with our Church office (873-3516). • OFFICE HOURS: The Church office will be opened Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.  Pastor Cyd will be at the Church office on Mondays and Fauna will be at the Church office Tuesday through Friday.
