  • MESSAGE FOR SERVICE: Sunday, July 2, 2023, is: Build on the Past, Believe in the Future. Scripture: Haggai 2: 1-9, 15-19.
  • PULPIT FILL: Sunday, July 2, we will have Pastor Tom Schmidt and his wife, Denise filling in for Pastor Cyd. Please give them a warm welcome!
  • UPPER ROOM: The July/August 2023 edition of The Upper Room has been placed throughout the Church. Please feel free to take a copy.
  • OCEANA SINGERS: Performed last Sunday, June 25th. Thank you for putting on a beautiful and entertaining concert. There was a nice size crowd that joined us and the refreshments, appetizers and fellowship after the concert was very enjoyable.  
  • OFFICE CLOSED: Tuesday, July 4th the Church Office will be closed in observance of Independence Day.
  • AMBER ELK RANCH: Anyone interested in visiting the Amber Elk Ranch in Ludington? We are going on Friday, July 7th. We will be leaving the Church around 10:30 A.M. Hoping to stop for a bite to eat afterwards. The cost is $15:00 for Adults, $13.00 for Seniors and $10.00 for children 2-11. Children under 2 are free. The tour lasts about an hour. PLEASE let Bev know by Wednesday, July 5th if you will be going.
  • 72ND ANNUAL ST. JOSEPH AND ST. VINCENT OX ROAST & HOMECOMING: Will be Sunday, July 9th from 11:30 A.M.-3:30 P.M. Dinners are $15.00 each, Children (6-10)-$6.00 and Children (5 & under)-Free. Questions? Please call Karen Alvesteffer at 231-873-5776.
  • NEWSLETTER: The Hearts United quarterly newsletter will be coming out in July. This is your newsletter, so please email me (fauna@hartunitedmethodist.org) or submit anything that you would like to see in your newsletter. Ideas and/or suggestions are always welcome!
  • COFFEE WITH THE PASTOR: Coffee with Pastor Cyd is being switched back to Tuesday’s from 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. There will not be Coffee with Pastor Cyd this coming Tuesday, July 4th. The Office will be closed in observance of Independence Day. Coffee hour will resume on Tuesday, July 11th. Pastor Cyd welcomes your phone calls anytime, whether to make an appointment or discuss other business. Contact Pastor Cyd by phone at 231-721-1842 or by her email (cydinga@gmail.com). 
  • SCRIPTURE READERS: Leave word with Maureen Huizing (873-0418), the Church office (873-3516) or with Pastor Cyd (517) 617-7382 if you would be willing to be our Scripture reader on one of the future Sundays. Gayle Forner is scheduled for this Sunday, July 2nd with David Jensen reading on Sunday, July 9th and Chris Jensen reading on Sunday, July 16th.
  • CONGREGATIONAL CARE: We need volunteers to help provide food for our Church families in times of need, please add your name and contact information to the Congregational Care Volunteer list in the McRae Fellowship Hall or leave your name with our Church office (873-3516) or contact Judy Kuipers at the numbers listed below. If you know of a Church Friend or Church Family that is in need, please contact Judy Kuipers (873-5879) or (231-301-1674) or the Church Office at the number listed above.
  • OFFICE HOURS: The first week in July, Starting Monday, July 3rd, Pastor Cyd and Fauna will be switching days. Fauna will be in the Church Office Monday through Thursday from 10:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. and Pastor Cyd will be in the Church Office on Friday from 10:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M.
