MESSAGE FOR SERVICE: Sunday, August 6, 2023, is Limping Because Of His Hip. Scripture: Genesis 32: 22-31.

TUESDAY’S FRIEND’S: Will be meeting twice in August. We will meet at the Church on August 8th at 11:30 A.M. and go to Country Dairy and on August 15th we will be having a surprise day! Time to be determined.
SIGN-UP SHEETS: There will be two sign-up sheets going around starting August 13th for The Freedom & Healing Seminar for breakfast and lunch and the 2023 District Annual Meeting Brunch. It would be greatly appreciated if volunteers would sign-up to bring food/drinks.

ALTAR FLOWERS: In recognition of a special memory or event, would you like to place flowers on the Altar? Maybe just share flowers from your garden? Please call Judy Kuipers at (873-5879 or 231-301-1674).
WESTERN WATERS DISTRICT CHURCH TOUR: Will be held on Wednesday, August 16th at 1:30 P.M.
FREEDOM AND HEALING SEMINAR: The Hart United Methodist will be hosting the Freedom and Healing Seminar on Friday, September 8th at 8:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M. Informational fliers have been placed throughout the Church. The cost for the event is $20.00 which includes the Steps to Freedom in Christ workbook and Lunch. Dinner is optional for an additional $20.00. RSVP to julievandermeulen10@gmail.com.

SCRIPTURE READERS: Leave word with Maureen Huizing (873-0418), the Church office (873-3516) or with Pastor Cyd (517- 617-7382) if you would be willing to be our Scripture reader on one of the future Sundays. Helen Pische will be reading on Sunday, August 6th with Nancy Sterk reading on August 13th and Helen Sterk reading on August 20th.
CONGREGATIONAL CARE: We need volunteers to help provide food for our Church families in times of need, please add your name and contact information to the Congregational Care Volunteer list in the McRae Fellowship Hall or leave your name with our Church office (873-3516) or contact Judy Kuipers at the numbers listed below. OFFICE HOURS: Fauna will be in the Church Office Monday through Thursday from 10:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. and Pastor Cyd will be in the Church Office on Friday from 10:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M.
